Those Who Have Ears Let Him Hear What The Spirit Is Saying........
Revelation 20:1-5 clearly states that those beheaded for their testimony, those who didn't worship or take the mark of the beast is in the FIRST resurrection. So the question we must ask ourselves is, since the First resurrection is at Christ's return and those who are included are those who didn't worship or take the mark of the beast, how is it the rapture takes place before the tribulation period?

The Bride of Christ and the Great Whore
I don't know about you but I was taught growing up that the church was the bride of Christ. And it was later in life that I heard that the "great whore" was the Roman catholic church.
It was only when I began to read the Bible myself as I encourage everyone to do, that Holy Spirit revealed the truth concerning the bride and the whore.
They both are cities. Not churches. Revelation 21:9-27 tells us what the bride looks like. 21:9-10 tells us who she is.
Revelation 21:9-10
And there came to me one of the angels which had the seven vials full of the seven last plagues and talked with me saying, Come here, I will show you the bride, the Lamb's wife. And he carried me away in the spirit to a great mountain, and showed me that great city, the holy Jeruselum, descending out of heaven from God.
So the bride is made known in these two verses. She is the new Jerusalem.
Revelation 21:2
And I John saw the holy city, new Jerusalem coming down from God out of heaven, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband .
But where do the saints fit in?
Revelation 19:7-9
Let us be glad and rejoice and give honor to him:for the marriage of the Lamb is come, and has made herself ready. And to her was granted that she should be arrayed in fine linen, clean and white: for the fine linen is the righteousness of the saints. And he said to me, write Blessed are they which are called to the marriage supper of the Lamb. And he said to me, These are true sayings of God.
The saints and the righteousness and honor we bring, are the bride's adornment. Her bridal attire. Read it for yourselves. Don't take my word for it.
As for the whore, she too is a city.
Revelation 17:1
And there came one of seven angels which had the seven viles, and talked with me saying to me, come here,I will show you the judgment of the great whore that sits on many waters.
Revelation 17:5
And upon her forehead a name was written, MYSTERY, BABYLON THE GREAT, THE MOTHER OF HARLOTS AND ABOMINATIONS OF THE EARTH.
Revelation 17:18
And that woman which you saw is that great city, which reigns over the kings of the earth.
The new Babylon is the great whore, satan's mistress; while the new Jerusalem is the bride, the Lamb wife.
Of course this shouln't be a surprise. Satan does try to imitate God and His Son Jesus. But that's for another blog.

The End Is Not Yet
It's always best to read for ourselves what the bible says. If we listen and take to heart what men/women say the bible says we miss what God has to say to us personally. We also miss the message if we read with the blinders of those men/women's interpretations. So always read for yourselves if you dare seek the truth. With that being said, there are verses following this post that will help you see why I believe that christians will indeed be here during the tribulation and After the tribulation Jesus will return. According to scripture, this will happen @the last trumpet in which there are 7 to sound after the seven seals and just before the 7 viles of wrath are poured out. It is at the fifth trumpet when the beast is released from the bottomless pit which comes before Jesus' return at the seventh & last trumpet.
Some have argued that Christians are not appointed to God's wrath. This is very true. But it is not God's wrath we will suffer during tribulation but satan's. Even before the beast comes on the scene, the road will be paved with the sorrow of Christians to make clear the way for the beast. If you think it can't happen, just watch your daily christian news networks. Our brothers and sisters are going to prison, being killed and tortured daily right now and this is only the begining of sorrows. Jesus said we would suffer and be persecuted for his name sake and to believe otherwise is pure fantasy. Besides, look at what happened to James (John's brother), and Peter, and Paul and....well you get the picture. But nothing God sends during this time is aimed at his chosen.
It has also been argued that post trib rapture is trying to give a specific time as to the return of Jesus and that no one knows the day or hour. While it's true no one knows the day or hour, post trib is no more of a time frame than pre trib rapture. Jesus left us signs to follow. So he never meant for us to be caught off guard. Someone trying to be specific are those saying in the year so and so and on this day of this month. Like the Campanites and Myans of the world like to do.
And let's not forget the argument that leads to the verses of two here and two there, one will be taken and the other left. This will happen. But!, it is a matter of when that makes all the difference in the world. According to scripture, it will happen between the seventh trumpet and the seven viles. In strongs exaustive concordance, the word hour has a meaning of day. So it seems those left behind will be left on the "day" of wrath(the seven vials). I am not afraid to admit that I'm not quite certain of this part. Besides, no one can know all things. But I am most certain that tribulations come before rapture. Not of my own understanding because I grew up a die hard pre tribber. But by the awesomeness and free gift of Holy Spirit's understanding. He does guide us to all truth. What did John say? Paraphrased: The anointing you have recieved of him lives in you and you need not that any man teach you.....Holy Spirit gives us guidance to the truth if we ask.
Some have said it's hard to understand about the end especially Revelation, and the details don't matter as long as we are ready to meet the Lord at his return. But the truth is that the details matter a great deal because Jesus warned against adding or taking from that particular prophecy. The details mattered a lot to him plus, if we are not prepared for what is to come, many will turn from their faith at a time they'll need it most. So yes, the details are gravely important.
What my question is to those who argue that no one can understand Revelation or say that the bible is not clear on the specifics is how can anyone build a foundation and preach or write book after book on a subject that is not clear even from the bible's perspective? If the bible is not clear then how can we be? The truth is that the bible is very clear and if we really want to know the truth then Holy Spirit will reveal it to us through those clear truths in the bible.
Don't get me wrong, there is more that I don't understand than what I do. But I understand enough that I know that bad bad times are quickly approaching and as a steward of that understanding and knowlegde by power of Holy Spirit, it is my job to to warn others. Jesus said what I tell you in secret shout on the rooftops and what I reveal in darkness, show in the light. And that's what I'm trying to do here. It's not about who's right or wrong but the truth. Those who have ears let him hear what the Spirit says.

Need To Know
According to Dr. John Anstutz, a 27 yr. vet of New Testament studies, Revelation is an increasing vision. While some say Revelation is not in chronological order, Dr. Anstutz says it is but John (the dicsiple) is seeing the vision in parts. So at first he sees the whole of the vision but with vague details. Then he sees more then he gets explanation of what he sees then sees the vision again with more details and so on. Knowing this little piece of information opens the door for understanding Revelation so much better and explains why some things seem to happen more than once and why it seems to not be in correct order.
